Kayci Moushon is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and the founder of Resolute Mental Health. With a deep passion for improving access to psychiatric care in underserved and long-term care settings, Kayci built Resolute Mental Health around a simple but powerful idea: every patient deserves timely, compassionate mental health care — regardless of where they live or receive care.
Kayci earned her nursing degree and advanced her education to specialize in psychiatric mental health, completing her graduate training with a focus on adult and geriatric psychiatric populations. With 20 years of experience in healthcare across a variety of settings, Kayci followed her passion into psychiatric care, where she has dedicated herself to improving mental health outcomes for vulnerable populations.
As the sole provider at Resolute Mental Health, Kayci personally oversees every patient relationship — conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, managing psychotropic medications, and collaborating closely with facility staff and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure the best possible outcomes. She is known for her warm, patient-centered approach and her ability to connect meaningfully with patients who may be difficult to engage.
Kayci is committed to reducing the stigma around mental health in long-term care settings and advocates for routine psychiatric screening and proactive mental health management as a standard of care.

Mickey Michalec
Mickey Michalec leads business development at Resolute Mental Health, building and nurturing relationships with long-term care facilities, hospitals, and rehabilitation centers across the region. With a background in healthcare services and a genuine commitment to improving patient access, Mickey serves as the bridge between Resolute Mental Health and the facilities that partner with us.
Mickey works closely with facility administrators, directors of nursing, and social services teams to identify patients who would benefit from on-site psychiatric services and to streamline the referral and onboarding process. His approachable style and deep knowledge of the long-term care landscape make him a trusted resource for facility partners.
Mickey is passionate about expanding access to psychiatric care and believes that strong partnerships between providers and facilities are the foundation of better patient outcomes.

Dr. Hassan Abouhouli serves as Medical Director of Resolute Mental Health, providing clinical oversight, medical leadership, and strategic guidance to ensure the highest standards of care. As a physician with extensive experience in acute care and internal medicine, Dr. Abouhouli brings a rigorous, evidence-based perspective to the organization's clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
In his role as Medical Director, Dr. Abouhouli collaborates with Kayci Moushon and the broader care team to review complex cases, guide treatment decisions, and ensure that Resolute Mental Health's clinical practices align with current best practices in patient care.
